Since it’s summer, we want to know, what does summertime mean to the 2 Wired 2 Tired family? And what summer things do you look forward to? Tésa says,
“Summertime to me means getting outside and enjoying the sunshine and blue skies. Living in Cleveland we have precious few days of sun and good weather so we take advantage of them whenever we can whether it’s playing in the backyard with bubbles, heading over to the neighborhood park, and even taking the day to go to the beach. Summer is my favorite season and I’m really looking forward to this one!”
I’m known for…being a bookworm. I have a B.A. in English and almost continued on to be a librarian.
I’m working on…trying to get back in shape. I’ve somehow lost a bit of motivation and this summer I’d love to regain it.
10 years from now I…will being raising a 16- and 15-year-old. Yikes! I don’t know if I even want to think about that right now!
I’m currently addicted to…chocolate. I used to never like sweets as a kid but after I had my son a switch turned on and now chocolate is my favorite indulgence.
I find joy…in traveling with my family. I love having the chance to take my children on trips and to see the vacation through their eyes. They get so excited about the little things that it makes the trip even more fun.
My secret ambition…is to see the world. If you know me well, it’s not much of a secret, but I just would love to travel all over and experience other cultures and go on volunteer vacations too.
I can’t do without…my books. There’s just nothing like getting lost in a good book.
I’m most creative…first thing in the morning. I used to be a night owl but since having kids I get more done in the morning.
I admire…people who workout consistently. I used to play volleyball in high school and college and even coached at the college level. and therefore I used workout all the time, but for the past 6-8 years I’ve had a terrible time trying to consistently workout. I will go for a few months straight and love it and then get sidetracked by a cold or a change in routine and then really struggle to get back into a routine even though I want to.
When I grow up…I want to be a travel writer. It’s a dream I’ve had since I was young. I love my travel blog and would be thrilled to branch out from there.
PC or Mac? PC
iPhone or Droid? iPhone – I had a Droid for a few months and just went back to an iPhone
Coffee or Tea? Neither. I’ve never really liked coffee and only drink tea when I’m sick or really cold.
Peanut butter – crunchy or smooth? Smooth but with potato chips in the sandwich too.
Three words my friends would use to describe me are: Empathetic, Ambitious, and Hard-Working
