This weekend we “Spring forward” into Daylight Saving Time and in just a couple of weeks, the calendar will tell us it’s officially Spring (even if the weather forecasts do not not!) Around this time of year, many of us turn our attentions towards Spring cleaning our homes but it’s also a good time to Spring clean your blog!
Our next #O2OChat Hangout on Air will focus on tips & tricks for sprucing up your blog and making it shine! We’ve gathered a panel of women who are experienced in blogging, blog design, coding, SEO, and working with brands to show us some simple ways to improve our blogs.
Prizes: To help further your blogging efforts and get your blog into tip-top shape, we’ll be giving away four (4) copies of DIY Blog Critique by Melissa Culbertson of momcomm.com! AND Hangout panel member Becca Ludlum has offered a one-hour blog consultation to a hangout attendee! During the Hangout, you’ll need to either make a comment or ask a question on the Hangout post to be eligible to win a prize.
The Hangout will be broadcast on air and we invite you to come by and watch, make comments, and ask questions! We’re looking forward to hanging out with you!

Please join us on February 26 from 8 – 10pm ET for our #MAKERSChat Twitter Party. We’ll be watching and discussing the live PBS broadcast of MAKERS: Women Who Make America.

MAKERS traces the women’s moment over the last 50 years and tells the story through the words of Gloria Steinem, Oprah Winfrey, Betty Friedan, Judy Blume, Katie Couric, Ellen DeGeneres, Hillary Clinton, Nora Ephron, Carol Burnett, Marissa Mayer, and many more trailblazers.

Joining the discussion will be startup powerhouse (and mom of 3) Rachael Herrscher of Today’s Mama, and our at friends at Simple Skincare—proud sponsors of the MAKERS initiative.
We’ll be talking about how far we’ve come—and how far we have to go.
Of course, it’s not a Twitter Party without prizes! We’re giving away thirty gift bags throughout the party, all containing full-size Simple Skincare products and a $50 AMEX gift card.
Enter to win by RSVPing below and tweeting with the #MAKERSChat hashtag during the party.
Eligibility Requirements:
Last night we held our first Google+ Hangout on Air! It was a lot of fun and we’re so pleased that several of you came out and watched the broadcast.
If you missed it last night, no problem! It’s been recorded for posterity.
Our panelists for this #O2OChat were: Ashleigh Baker (from BlissDom), Jazzy Jones (from Blogalicious), Laurie White (from Mom 2.0 Summit) Bridgette Duplanits (from Reviewer’s Retreat), Andrea Bates (from SITS/Bloggy Bootcamp), and just Shannon aka Mr. Lady (from BlogHer). Give them a shout-out and let them know you watched the Hangout!
We’ll definitely be doing this again! Stay tuned for details. In the meantime, tell us, what blogging and/or social media topics do you want to learn more about?
BlissDom is a mere six weeks away and we’re gearing up for it! Will we see you there?
We had so much fun with offering everyone at BlissDom ’12 free headshots that we decided to go for it again!
Be sure to stop by and let our photographers take a photo of beautiful you!
The photos are perfect for social media avatars, website bios, and LinkedIn profiles.
And of course we’ll have fun, fabulous prizes for you to win!
If you’ll be attending, BlissDom, we’d love it if you would add your name & website to our linky list below so that we can be sure to be on the lookout for you!
O2O is excited to announce our very first Google+ Hangout on Air and we want you to be there! As we kick-off 2013, we want to make sure that O2O members have a place to go to ask questions and learn more about navigating the blog and social media scenes.
One of our favorite places to be schooled on all things blog & social media is at blog & social media conferences, so that’s what we’ll be chatting about!
Whether you’re trying to decide to attend a conference (or two) this year, or you’ve signed up for your first ever conference, or you are a veteran conference attendee, we know this Hangout will be a great place for you.
We’ve gathered a panel of conference experts to guide you through the whats, hows, and whys of attending blog and social media conferences.
The Hangout will be broadcast On Air and we invite you to make comments and ask questions on our Google+ page for our panel to address. No need to RSVP, just come over to Google+ on Tuesday night and we’ll be there!
